老班章始於1476年，全村117戶，海拔1700米至1900米，年產青毛茶僅50噸，老班章村所在地，原生態植被多樣性保存完好，土壤有機質豐富，為茶樹千百年來的生存提供了得天獨厚的生態環境。自古以來，老班章村民沿用傳統古法人工養護賴以為生的茶樹，遵循民風，手工採摘鮮葉，土法炒制揉作茶青，時至今日，老班章普洱茶是雲南省境內少有不使用化肥、農藥等，是最原始的原生態環境產地。老班章普洱茶，茶氣剛烈，厚重醇香，霸氣十足，在普洱茶中歷來被尊為「王者」、「茶王」、「 老班章」等至高無上的美譽。Laobanzhang started in 1476.There are 117 households in the village,with an altitude of 1700 meters to 1900 meters.The annual output of green tea is only 50 tons.The original vegetation diversity is well preserved and the soil is rich in organic matter.There are thousands of tea trees.Years of survival provides a unique environment.Since ancient times,the villagers of Laobanzhang have followed the traditional methods to artificially maintain the tea trees they depend on for their livelihood.Following the folk customs,fresh leaves are picked by hand,and the tea is fried and kneaded by local methods.Today,Laobanzhang Pu’er tea is a rare tea in Yunnan Province.There is no use of fertilizers,icides,etc.,and it is the most primitive original environment.Laobanzhang Pu-Erh tea has strong tea flavor,thick and mellow aroma,and full of dominance.It has always been honored as the supreme reputation of "King","Tea King" and "Laobanzhang" among Pu-Erh teas.
